While I may read labels on food (sometimes), I admit I usually don’t pay attention to a lot of other labels, which was the case when I picked up a bottle of Dry Shampoo. I didn’t even notice the label until I happened to pick it up in boredom and glanced at the ingredients. Isobutane, Propane, SD Alcohol 40-B… wait, what? Propane? Butane? Then I noticed the warning above it: FLAMMABLE UNTIL FULLY DRY. DO NOT USE NEAR HEAT, FLAME OR WHILE SMOKING. CAN CAUSE SERIOUS DEATH OR INJURY.
Oooookay. Gee, I feel so much better now. I knew some hair products were flammable, but it definitely makes me re-think what’s going on my hair now. Knowing my luck, I’d be inolved in some freak accident where my hair burst into flames in some completely bizarre fashion. Hoory for plant-based, natural hair products!
